Kedartal is one moderate to difficult trek at a jaw dropping altitude of 4750 m. It’s a base for Thalay Sagar (6900m), Meru (6674m), Bhrigupanth (6772m) and other surrounding peaks. It’s one of the most beautiful treks and requires absolute fitness to conquer.

Day 1 – Rishikesh to Gangotri

Day 1 – Rishikesh to Gangotri (268km drive)

We’ll leave early in the morning via Uttarkashi towards Gangotri enjoying the subtle landscapic glimpses of Chamba, Uttarkashi, Gangnani, Dharali and Harsil. Overnight stay at Gangotri.


Day 2 – Gangotri to Kedar Kharak

Day 2 – Gangotri to Kedar Kharak (14 kms ascent)

Starting early, we’ll march towards Kedar Kharak via Bhoj Kharak. The trek is steep and inclined at some places but the breathtaking views will help you on with your journey. Overnight stay at camps.

Day 3 – Kedar Kharak To Kedartal and back

Day 3 – Kedar Kharak To Kedartal and back (4kms ascent and descent)

We’ll start further ascent towards Kedartal and make sure to reach there by noon. The gradient of this part of the trek is pretty difficult and one may have high altitude issues like nausea or breathlessness. However, our expert guide and staff will always be there to help you push forward. After viewing and enjoying the mesmerising overview of the Kedartal, we’ll head back towards our camps at Kedar Kharak.


Osla – Kedar Kharak to Gangotri

Day 4 – Kedar Kharak to Gangotri (14 kms descent)

We’ll dispatch and start descending towards Gangotri in the morning. We’ll reach there by 2-3 PM and if possible, will drive further to Gangnani where lies a hot natural spring. We’ll take a dip in the Tapt Kund and relax in Sulphur Spring to ease out the muscles and mind. Overnight stay at Gangnani.

Day 5 – Gangnani to Rishikesh

Day 05: Gangnani to Rishikesh (268 km drive)

We’ll finally take a dip again in the hot springs and will head further towards Rishikesh, our final destination for this amazing trip. Members will be dropped off at their prescribed location in Rishikesh. They are also welcome to stay with us at Rishikesh (paid separately).
